The Somethins Kookin show is an extension of their successful club nite that we’ve been running for over 3 years now. They are a 4 piece outfit on club nights… Steph Liddle, Gary Love, Jim Wilson and Colin Bailie who unfortunately cant make the shows due to logistical issues but Gary and Jim alternate each fortnight with Steph Liddle at the helm.
Somthins Kookin are quite unique in the sense that they are the only show on Groovecityradio that plays original 7″ vinyl from various genres including 60’s soul, r&b , Latin boogaloo & jazz.
The aim of the show is to not only provide the very best in these genres that many of the listeners wouldn’t have heard before but also to provide a light hearted approach to everything with a bit of chat and special guest appearances.
