Lee did have insurance which are now declining to pay out so every little will help!!
The money will go towards the costs of getting Lee back to his home grounds of Middlesbrough, also to help towards giving him the send off he deserves and to help give Lee’s three children Cassius, Danielle and selina the remaining raised funds to a trust fund to secure them a good future that Lee would want for them.

TFI FRIDAY RADIO presents LISA LASHES on GROOVE CITY RADIO /// FRIDAY 4TH MARCH 2016 /// 20:00 – 22:00 gmt

THE ORIGINAL QUEEN OF DANCE

THIS FRIDAY… CAZMAC brings you a very special exclusive to GROOVE CITY RADIO guest mix from

Miss LISA LASHES

http://www.groovecityradio.com

The only woman to ever break into the Top 10 of DJ MAG’s Top 100 DJs, Lisa Lashes’ prolific career in dance music spans 18 years of entertaining clubbers across the globe.

No stranger to the biggest events worldwide, December 2014 saw her finishing a whirlwind month of 10 gigs taking in 7 countries, by headlining Cape Town street festival alongside Pendulum, bringing her unique, driving electronic sounds to adoring South African masses, while at the same time hitting Top 5 in the Beatport charts with her last release of the year, ‘Dis You’ and reaching Number 1 in the Beatport sounds chart with her first sample pack.

A true DJ’s DJ, Lisa’s focus, passion and presence behind the decks is a force to be reckoned with, commanding pure, unfaltering devotion from a huge, loyal and supportive worldwide fan base. Lisa dazzles crowds with her tricks, skills, flawless mixing and passion for scratching. Never complacent, Lisa thrives on musical perfectionism, continually upping her fierce game.

Dividing her time between touring and tireless late night studio hours makes Lisa’s discography an impressive read. Commanding one of the biggest-selling Euphoria albums of all time, her releases span musical genres from Hard Dance to Trance, Breaks, and more recently Psytrance and Electronica. 2015 now sees Lisa following her heart to the dark side of Techno, with the support of none other than ‘The Boss’ Carl Cox, who premiered her first Techno release, a remix of the much-loved Stage 1 classic ‘Space Manoeuvres,’ on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival, swiftly followed by dropping it to home crowds at Victoria Warehouse at Manchester’s amazing Albert Hall.

After the release of Lisa’s secret mix archives from ‘back-to-mine’ sessions in her private basement studio, Lisa’s fans now demand more Techno from her, leading her to launch a series of exclusive, intimate and underground ‘Origin-L’ parties around the UK, bringing all the elements of an after-party session back at Lisa’s place to the party, the first one kicking off on Gay Pride Day in Brighton on 1st August.

On tour, Lisa’s globalgig repertoire would make any artist jealous. There’s no continent Lisa hasn’t played. Recently Stateside can’t get enough of our English Rose with her debut performance at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas event and her invitation to play in NYC for the 4th July celebrations.

Delivering on all levels, Lisa’s podcast consistently reaches the Top 2 in the Mixcloud charts and is in iTunes Recommends’ Top 10 monthly dance casts in the world. You can also catch her radio show on Digitally Imported on the 4th Friday of every month.

A true Queen of Dance, all rise and dance ‘til dawn for Miss… Lisa Lashes!

GROOVE CITY RADIO /// PROUD TO BE SUPPORTING THE ‘PLUG_EM’ CAMPAIGN

The word ‘tinnitus’ comes from the Latin word for ‘ringing’ and is the perception of sound in the absence of any corresponding external sound. This noise may be heard in one ear, in both ears or in the middle of the head or it may be difficult to pinpoint its exact location. The noise may be low, medium or high‑pitched. There may be a single noise or two or more components. The noise may be continuous or it may come and go.

What causes tinnitus?

Tinnitus is not a disease or an illness, it is a symptom generated within a person’s own auditory pathways. Although it is often assumed that tinnitus occurs as a result of disease of the ears, this is often not the case. The precise cause of tinnitus is still not fully understood.

Who gets tinnitus?

Experiences of tinnitus are very common in all age groups, especially following exposure to loud noise; however, it is unusual for it to be a major problem. There is a widely held misconception that tinnitus is confined to the elderly, but various studies have shown that it can occur at any age, even in quite young children. Mild tinnitus is common ‑ about 10 per cent of the population have it all the time and, in up to one per cent of adults, this may affect the quality of their life.

What to do if you think you have tinnitus?

Tinnitus is rarely an indication of a serious disorder, but it is wise to see your doctor if you think you might have it. Should something treatable be causing it, you may be referred to a specialist.

  • try not to worry

The noises may seem worse if you are anxious or stressed. When tinnitus starts, particularly if it’s sudden, you may naturally be frightened and your concentration or your sleep may be disturbed. You may get angry and frustrated because no‑one else understands, or you may live alone and not have anyone to talk to about it ‑ that’s where the BTA can help. You can contact the BTA office in Sheffield and speak to one of the helpline adviserswho have years of experience talking to people with tinnitus, we can also put you in touch with a support group if there is one in your area. Groups are run by people who are living with tinnitus ‑ personal contact and shared experience are very useful for many people with tinnitus.

  • find out more

You will probably feel better when you find out more about the condition ‑ that it’s very common and you’re not alone. There is lots of information on this website for you to explore, written by experts in the field.

Many people say they notice tinnitus less when they are doing something. Keeping your mind occupied helps (but don’t overdo things). If the noises seem louder at quiet times, particularly during the night, it may help to have soothing music or some other environmental or natural sound quietly on in the background.

Practising relaxation and taking time out for yourself can also be a great help.

  • join the British Tinnitus Association

The Association was over founded 35 years ago by people with tinnitus. When you join you will receive free information leaflets and our quarterly magazine, Quiet.

The BTA offers a numbers of types of membership, so that all members of the tinnitus community can show their support for the BTA and benefit from our advice and help.

  • Individual – suitable for people with tinnitus, or those individuals who wish to support people with tinnitus and the work of the BTA, but who are not working with people with tinnitus in a professional capaicty.
  • Corporate – organisations with more than 5 staff, or those who want to benefit from the most extensive membership package we offer.
  • Small Business – organisations with 5 or less employees are offered this discounted package with benefits more appropriate to smaller companies.
  • Public Sector – designed for public sector and non-profit organisations working to support those affected by tinnitus.
  • Professional – individual professionals working with people affected by tinnitus (such as a GP, audiologist, counsellor or hearing therapist or ENT surgeon).

If you work somewhere noisy, and the decibel level is over 80dB(A), you’re trained & educated to understand the risks involved in working in that kind of noisy environment and hearing protection is made available. At 85dB(A) and above hearing protection should be provided.

CATCH DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE RADIO EVERY SATURDAY FROM NOON ON GROOVE CITY RADIO

GROOVE CITY RADIO / STEREOFUNK / LIVE BROADCAST / VINYL RULES ARENA / MAY 3rd 2015

We are delighted to announce that we will be broadcasting LIVE from the ‘VINYL RULES ARENA’ at this years 10th STEREOFUNK event at Strathclyde Park on May 3rd 2015

The one day event takes place at Strathclyde Country Park, Lanarkshire on the May Day Bank Holiday and boasts a very special, intimate festival vibe that is second to none.

Stereofunk showcases the talents of over 100 of Scotland’s best djs and bands as well as a sprinkling of well known international talent. Over 80 djs and 15 bands play across seven arenas at the all day event which runs from 12 noon to 10.30pm.

The brand Stereofunk was founded in 2005 by local djs Stevie Lennon & Craig Kelman who at the time wanted to add a new twist to Scottish clubbing by ‘taking the best people to the best places to have the best parties’. That very summer the boys descended deep into the woods of Wiston to an old 18th Century lodge alongside another 150 like minded revellers for the first ever Stereofunk ‘You Got The Love’. Following on with other secret castle parties here and there, the magical atmospheres at the events captured the imagination of many from far and wide and before long the event had to move to Strathclyde Park to cope with demand. The rest is history…

Nowadays Stereofunk aims to put on fantastic events which have a great atmosphere, a great crowd and don’t cost the earth. Already renowned for delivering all of these the event continues to grow year on year with sell out after sell out.

Over the years Stereofunk has hosted many artists including Fedde Le Grand, Yousef, The Complete Stone Roses, Grant Nelson, Tim Burgess, Judge Jules, The Underground Jam, Bodyrox, Bart B More, The Kings Of Lyon, Danny Rampling, The Fillers, K Klass, Funkagenda and Dave Pearce.

The event is held at Strathclyde Park on an area of grass near to the Watersports centre. It is a fantastic picturesque location not only in the heart of Lanarkshire but also the centre of Scotland and has superb road and rail links

The event is for over 18s only and has fully licensed bars, quality food vendors and still continues to be one of the most affordable festivals in Britain.

For more information on this event check for updates to follow on our webpage and facebook pages… also on Stereofunks website
