JACK EYE JONES Radio Show Saturday 29th November 03:00gmt

Groove City Radio are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Jack Eye Jones Radio Show. This will be a monthly instalment of mashups bootlegs and all things Jack Eye Jones.

It’s rare that you meet an act with more of a passion for every aspect of an artist’s life than Jack Eye Jones. Whether it be a live performance, studio work or his ever popular radio presence the Scotsman has developed a passionate, devoted fan base off the back of his own unbridled love for dance music. It’s something he has dedicated himself to and his infectious enthusiasm trickles down into every last tweet, every Instagram tag he launches into the vast online sphere. Those who have witnessed the passionate Scot perform know his specially brewed brand of big room house is particularly formidable, almost every track in his record box has been personalised in some shape or form to fit his energetic electro sets.

2014 has undoubtedly been a break out year for the producer with a number of his productions attaining worldwide acclaim beginning with a remix from the legendary Tiësto back in March. The Dutchman put his stamp on the Jack Eye Jones original Playground which attracted over half a million plays in just a few days before smashing straight into the Beatport Top 10. Last May also saw the release of another JEJ banger in Far East, which received early support from Avicii on his Le7els show and was accompanied by a tasty remix from Mixmash and Revealed Records duo Blasterjaxx. With backing already forthcoming from a host of international DJs, including the aforementioned Avicii, Hardwell and the almighty Tiësto on his Clublife show as well as the likes of Radio 1 and Capital FM it’s clear this is a man on the rise.

Jack’s own radio presence comes in the form of his monthly podcast series ‘Ibiza Sessions’ something that has been a cornerstone for him since day one. The podcast topped the iTunes UK Chart on four occasions last year as well as coming in at number 3 this April, smashing the milestone of over 1 million downloads reached in just a few short episodes. This is where Jack has really distinguished himself, beating competition from the likes of Armin Van Buuren and Hardwell to dominate the playlists of dance fans all over the UK. Alongside the show, the past summer saw Jack Eye Jones continue to host his Ibiza Sessions Boat parties in partnership with the esteemed Colours brand welcoming a long list of prestigious talents to the White Isle.

All told, there can be no doubt that the last 12 months have represented a major step up for a man who lives and breathes a 4/4 beat. With a stellar performance on the Creamfields main stage this August (alongside Hardwell and Tommy Trash) earning him widespread plaudits, as well as some standout performances at Avicii in Ushuaia and as a resident at Gatecrasher, Ibiza for El Carnaval Jack Eye Jones continues to impress crowds all over the world. This fall represents another massive step for the burgeoning talent, with his very first US Tour alongside contemporaries like Dada Life, MAKJ and GTA. Jack is finally bringing his distinctive sound stateside where his high-octane live sets will undoubtedly go down a treat. This autumn will also see the release of his long anticipated anthem Rainbows which has been earning rave reviews as well as an official remix for Tiësto’s legendary track Adagio For Strings marking the completion of a long time goal for the rising producer.
